The Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) will pause the acceptance of new Capital Magnet Fund (CMF) Annual Performance Report(s) and related transaction submissions effective August 1, 2024, through November 30, 2024, to prepare for the launch of the new CMF Annual Performance Report template in AMIS.  The anticipated date for the resumption of acceptance of new CMF Annual Performance Reports is December 2, 2024. 

The CMF Annual Performance Report, which ensures CMF Recipients are successfully pursuing their performance commitments, is changing to align with the updates in the revised CMF Interim Rule (amended June 25, 2024) and to eliminate certain data points that are no longer relevant. Recipients will not be able to create or make updates to CMF Annual Performance Reports, and related transaction submissions (e.g., CMF Project records), until the updates are released in AMIS in early December. The CDFI Fund expects to resume accepting new CMF Annual Performance Reports and related transactions on December 2, 2024. 

The revised Interim Rule is effective as of June 25, 2024, for all past and present CMF Awards. It is anticipated that the CDFI Fund will initiate amendments to existing Assistance Agreements as well as provide guidance on the new policy and procedures later this year.
