Federal Audit Clearinghouse Update
As the Federal Audit Clearinghouse (FAC) moves from the U.S. Census Bureau (Census) to the General Services Administration (GSA), the FAC wants to ensure that auditees and auditors are fully updated on key information regarding this transition. First, be sure to explore the new GSA website, fac.gov/welcome.
Beginning October 1st, fac.gov is where you will submit your fiscal year (FY) 2023 Single Audits using the new system.
A few other notes on the transition:
- You have until October 1, 2023 to complete and submit your FY 2022 audits in the legacy Census FAC.
- You will need to start over in the new GSA FAC if you do not complete and submit your FY 2022 audit by October 1st. If you need to amend FY 2022 or prior audits, you will need to start over in the GSA FAC.
- A Login.gov account is required for everyone involved in the single audit submission process in the new GSA FAC, so if you do not already have one, be sure to create an account as soon as possible. As a reminder, Login accounts cannot be shared across users.
- If you need support, you can visit the knowledge base and contact support through the help center.
